Touring to Pameungpeuk Beach West Java (2)

That morning we arrived in the city of Garut. Our tiredness momentarily lost due course Garut is one of our stopover destination. Plus the cool morning air atmosphere of the city that simply makes us re-excited to enjoy it. after photograph we continue the journey to the residence of Bro Irphan parents. Bro Irphan this time the lead up to the residence of his parents. we got there so amazed with the view of the village is still beautiful, natural and calm. there are many broad fields and fish ponds full of fish ready to harvest what we saw. "Wow...which is in Jakarta atmosphere like this" I told Bro Irphan.

Parents Bro Irphan welcomed us with joy. They invited us to wash up and then can eat goldfish pond results that have been prepared, after which we can rest. But no-nonsense behavior hehehe friends especially Bro Isam hehehe that was good jokes. Also there are more massage - again Bro Isan with bro Gatchu. Apparently Sis Bonita also interested in massage hehehe. There is also a longer haircut. This Halloooo touring or what? "The important thing ...is okay .... hahahaha" said Bro Isam. There is also a completely rested.

The sun was high and we must hurry to continue our trip to Coast Pameungpeuk. All prepare ourselves and we say goodbye to Bro Irphan parents.

Bro Irphan lead this trip because it's only Bro irphan know the direction toward the beach Pameungpeuk. This trip is not easy because we have followed the road less good. On the right side and steep cliffs on the left side of the abyss and of course lots of twists off, so if we are negligent can be fatal. Approximately two-hour drive through the mountains and woods, we passed the beautiful tea plantations. We had stopped for a short break there.

Once satisfied to rest and take pictures, we returned to continue the journey. this time the road we traveled over the road than ever before. dominated streets with sharp turns derivatives. Our position down the hills so we must be extra careful in braking. After driving for nearly two and a half hours we finally arrived at the beach Pamengpeuk. We arrived around 16:00 pm.

Wow cool shouted our shores. we are happy that we have arrived safely in Pameungpeuk. Unspoiled beaches clean hands mischievously and fine white sand. rushed to greet us. The atmosphere of fun and joy mixed and our tiredness after driving one day simply disappeared, relieved by the beautiful atmosphere second to none. among us there is a direct play waves off the coast, there is also a picture taken and do not forget we also took time to eat together "lunch provided by parents Bro Irphan for our trip".

The east not far from the beach there was a rocket launch site Lapan. I just realized that the villages around the coast there are many buildings collapsed. After I read one of the signs that are still standing was the village is the village of Cikelet. a village in the south where some time ago Garut affected by the earthquake and Cikelet is one of the worst affected villages which receive only the news impact is less exposed to the media because the travel distance is too far from town.

We saw in the street to the location of rocket launching many people in front of the ruins of his house to build tents and among them there are who put their charity box put it on the roadside waiting for a helping hand through the streets. Tragic indeed, but what can I say. we also can not do much to help them.

FORT VREDEBURG

Fort Vredeburg

Hmmm. . . We can call it Vredeburg. Not only because the building is solid and the location is strategic, but we also study the history of the forts bias of the Company (the natives call it) or the Netherlands.

Vredeburg. The building is located just down the road Malioboro is a reign of colonial forts that used historical sights in the city is warm. European-style buildings that nuance is felt when entering the complex of this fortress, as if to bring us to the socio-economic and political situation in the Dutch colonial regime in Jogjakarta. The pillars of the foundation is as solid structures indicate a strong role when the Dutch government to colonize the archipelago.

Vredeburg Fort Year 1970
If you enter this castle, we can imagine how the situation in advance when the fortress was still functioning. try to imagine "Dutch colonial army marching practice in the yard fort.'s Voice shouting commands and marching soldiers filled the air in any room of the fort. In a shady terrace looks cool Dutch government officials discussed with the commander of the troops while monitoring the soldiers train for colonial interests. While outside the walls sturdy, indigenous people coming and going busy with their respective economic activity ". Well because it is adjacent to outside walls Beringharjo market that is so famous in Yogyakarta and in the archipelago, of course this is because the location of this market is right on Malioboro.

Speaking of this old fort, to find out more information about this fort, the manager provides a tour guide. They are ready to provide important information about the old building from the beginning of development, historical background, building functions, to the stories of mystery in the ancient fortress.

Vredeburg canal in 1920
Vredeburg it was first built by the Dutch colonial rule in 1760 under the name Fort Rustenburg / fort resort. As the name implies, according to the Dutch government, this fort was used as a resting place of the Dutch military officials, but according to historians, the fort was used as a means of controlling the palace of Jogjakarta in order not to interfere with the colonial powers at that time.

It was said of yore, Sultan of Jogjakarta is undergoing rapid development progress, this is a concern Netherlands. It is based on the fact that the distance between the fort and the palace is just a cannon shot. If we walk away, of course not too far, just five minutes we would arrive at the plaza north of the palace. Besides the strategic location of the fort located at the entrance of the palace, so if you want to go out into the palace of the population, must pass through the fort.

Scene inside of the fort Vredeburg
As the change of power, status of ownership of the fort was also changing, he said. although the fort was founded by the Dutch government, the status of first possession is held by the Sultan of Jogjakarta. Only at the VOC entry tahuin 1788, the fort was granted as a central regulator of the trade.

In 1799 the VOC went bankrupt due to corruption and mistrust, the fort was taken over by the Dutch government under the governor of Van Den Burg until the reign of Daendels governor. This fort was taken by the British government and recaptured by the Dutch.

In 1942 Japan fell into the hands until 1980, with the approval of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX, the fort was used as the center of cultural development of the archipelago. In 1992 finally the name was changed to Fort Rustenberg Vredeburg which means Fortress of Peace and officially became the National Struggle Museum.

It is not difficult to visit tourist sites, visitors do not need to pay expensive, for adults and strangers. Anyway Cheap hehehe .... Well if you visit this place, of course all travel to Malioboro, hunting for souvenirs cheap in Beringharjo market and do not forget to stop by the Palace or just sit around enjoying the beautiful city of Jogjakarta in front of the Great House.

Touring to Pameungpeuk Beach Garut West Java (1)

MC bikers

Relieve fatigue is our goal to use the motor to coast touring Pamengpeuk, South Garut, West Java. we incorporated in the MC Bikers, a community that is formed through a willingness for one purpose and one vision is togetherness, established in 2009 in South Jakarta.

It was Friday night, we departed from the base camp at Warung Buncit, South Jakarta at 10 pm. Our route through the Bogor - Puncak - Cianjur - Padalarang - Bandung - Garut and finally Pamengpeuk. And indeed the plan we set out on Friday and arrived in Jakarta on Sunday morning. Do not forget before leaving we gather to pray for the trip we were given a safety and without hindrance of any kind.

Bro ISAM
That night the sky was clear, the moon looks big just looks a little gray cloud right next to us, but it's not a problem for us. A traffic jam, of course we must go through the beginning of our journey. "Jakarta so you know" no day without being bogged down hahaha. Once we depart immediately welcomed jams up Depok Margonda area. Up to Puncak the streets we passed through without any problems and we took a break at the summit after 1.5 hours of driving. We were joking and chatting at once asked if among us there is a problem. Well, all states there is no problem, just cold and hungry chirps Bro Isam.

Oops it turns out it was already 24:00 and we had to go back. After filling stations in the area Cianjur catastrophe occurs. When I lead the line on a straight track between Cianjur - Padalarang, I see there are 4 cars following each other from opposite directions and one of them tight truck boxes to the left just 400 yards in front of me with her long distance headlights are very bright. Of course I gave the code to the line for a bit slowly and to the left. After the truck passed, wow 100 meters right in front of us there are railway crossings and I gave the code again to be careful, but the code was stopped in the fourth row, and our friend Bro Tirto Fall because the bike handlebar bag snagged on Bro Doni and he also hit the motorcycle from behind Bro Isam.

Of course it makes our shock, and we immediately help Bro Tirto. I felt guilty about the time I was located in front but Bro Tirto say "sorry I do not see my sign and blank (dreamily) earlier". It's important what you said we all survived. We treat the wounds immediately Bro Tirto and re-repairing a damaged bike. 2 hours passed and we managed to fix his bike with the help of residents around the course. There are some residents who say that diarea is indeed often an accident even many of them had died. Hemm was a dangerous area.

At 3:15 we continued our journey, after driving for nearly an hour, we arrived at the West Java capital of Bandung. About 4:10 o'clock we melawati kia Bandung city with the feel of the historic old town accompanied by the biting cold skin and a thin fog that blanketed Bandung morning. we continue down the road to Soekarno-Hatta Nagrek up in the area. Increasingly becoming so crazy sleepy, I sleep so badly that it made me get out of line and does not feel that my bike ride along the road that should not. Intensive "I fell asleep on the bike" I was lucky with Rebecca and she woke me with a punch on my shoulder. And I stopped for a moment. After a sigh and tried to get up, I immediately go returned catch up the group.

5:00 the sun began to peek from the east, and we arrived in the town of Garut. There are several separate our friends, and my duty to collect them returned. At the gas station before entering the City of Garut, some friends were seen refueling without telling the leader of the group (Bro Ferry). I immediately catch up the group and inform to immediately stop waiting for some members who are refueling. Once complete we continue the journey returned.

The city's natural charm Garut steady, beautiful. Before the terminal Garut we paused to unwind while enjoying the morning air with the warmth of the sun. After a cold night was delicious warmth of the sun penetrate our skin. Comfortable warm and fresh that we felt. but still we are taking the time to immortalize this moment hehehe. (To be Continued)!!
