FORT VREDEBURG

Fort Vredeburg

Vredeburg it was first built by the Dutch colonial rule in 1760 under the name Fort Rustenburg / fort resort. In 1992 finally the name was changed to Fort Rustenberg Vredeburg which means Fortress of Peace and officially became the National Struggle Museum.
